The Jolys Regional Library is a public regional library which serves the residents of both the Municipality of DeSalaberry and the Village of St-Pierre-Jolys. The main library is situated in St-Pierre-Jolys and is located in the former round gymnasium of the St-Pierre Collegiate, at 505 Hebert Avenue North. The St-Malo Branch library is housed at the south end of the St.Malo School, at A-189 St-Malo Street. The school and public libraries are combined, offering patrons a greater variety of materials.
The two libraries have an inventory of over 35,500 items including books, periodicals, audios, DVD’s and CD’s for children, adolescents and adults. All are offered in the two official languages. Computers, a color printer, a photocopier and scanner are available for public use in both libraries.
FREE MEMBERSHIP to all residents of St-Pierre-Jolys and residents of the R.M. of de Salaberry! Non-residents are also welcome to use our services, however, there is an annual membership fee of $60.
