The RM of De Salaberry provides protective services for people, property and the environment.
- The Royal Canadian Mounted Police provide policing services on behalf of the RM.
- Emergency preparedness for flooding and other natural disasters is a joint effort between the RM of Salaberry, St-Pierre-Jolys, and appropriate departments with the Government of Manitoba.
- Emergency preparedness requires an active fire protection service which is provided by a combination of staff and volunteer brigades between both the RM of DeSalaberry and St-Pierre-Jolys with our fire station located in St. Malo.
