The St. Malo Fire Department is made up of 19 local members serving the communities of the R.M. of De Salaberry and St-Pierre-Jolys responding with four trucks, and the Jaws of Life.
The St-Pierre-Jolys Fire Department is a volunteer brigade with 20 members. The Department has four tank trucks, pumper and jaws of life. The members are dispatched through pagers and attend all accidents or fires in the Village of St-Pierre-Jolys and surrounding area.
