Bilingual At Large Representative

for the

CDEM Board of Directors


The CDEM’S regulations state that the AMBM must appoint members to CDEM’s board of directors. These appointees must represent each municipality that are members of the AMBM; the R.M. of De Salaberry is a member of AMBM. The vacancy has been created as a result of the current appointee retiring after 15 years. The initial appointment would be from January 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019.

The R.M. of De Salaberry invites expressions of interest from persons wishing to represent the municipality. The representative must be bilingual, live in the municipality and should be:

1.      A person who is particularly interested in the economic development of his/her municipality;

2.      A person who has the ability to think globally;

3.      A person who is willing to cooperate with representatives of other municipalities in order to undertake regional projects;

4.      A person who can be counted on to relay information to your community;

5.      A person who can easily verbalize the needs of your community to CDEM board of directors;

6.      A person that understands that bilingualism is a value-added in your community and is willing to promote that notion.

 

The person appointed to this position will be the link between the RM of De Salaberry and CDEM.
